We took a look at over 2 million transaction completed last month and made a few interesting discoveries. As a result of the holiday shopping hangover, the sales of second hand devices shrunk by 20%, from 2.8 million to 2.2 million transactions.

Although overall sales went down significantly, sales of numerous sub-10 inch tablets including Nooks and Kindles (Check out our sub-10 inch tablet value analysis!) rose significantly, increasing the market share of custom Android-powered devices from 4% to 21%.
